Last summer, I interned at HubSpot, a world leading CRM company.
I was a Product Communications Intern on the Email Strategy Team within the Automation Team of the Marketing Department
Yep, a lot of sub layers
Before I arrived…

During my internship, I…

Surveyed 121 customers to gain insight into preferences for external marketing of product updates and changes
Interviewed 3 C-Suit members of 3 HubSpot Elite Solutions Partners
Presented a recommendation and implementation plan for HubSpot based on synthesized market research insights

ChatSpot Internship: Völur
After my summer internship at HubSpot, they asked me to participate in the HubSpot AI Student Bootcamp in September. At this bootcamp, I learned how to utilize HubSpot Marketing Software and leverage HubSpot’s new generative AI tool, ChatSpot, to help write email and blog content.
The bootcamp also featured a micro-internship program where each intern was paired with a company to deliver client work. There were hundreds of clients to choose from, but when I ran across a strange listing for an AI SaaS Startup in Norway for Meat Processing Plants, my brain immediately went, “OMG, I have to have that one.”
But of course, I was very unfamiliar to the concept. Of course, I knew about generative AI, but I wasn’t very knowledgable about statistical Machine Learning or Meat Processing Operations. I like normal stats and I’m an aspiring vegetarian.
I was eager to learn, and I knew that writing blogs is an excellent method for gaining knowledge. When I expressed this interest, they responded enthusiastically, encouraging me to see what I could develop. Consequently, I crafted several blogs. Below, you'll find samples of these blogs, accompanied by emails I composed to nurture preexisting leads using the new content.
The Secret to Bigger Profits in Meat Processing? It's All in the Daily Plans
In the fast-paced world of meat processing, operations managers are the maestros of efficiency, transforming a variable biological product into consistent, quality goods. Crafting daily fabrication plans isn't just a part of the job—it's a critical strategy that can make or break the profit margins.
From Excel to Excellence: SaaS Driving the Future of Meat Industry Efficiency
Navigating the meat processing industry's growth is like steering a car on complex, fast-paced highways. With the market’s landscape evolving, reliance on traditional planning methods, akin to using old road maps, is no longer sufficient. Enter Software as a Service (SaaS) platforms, the high-tech dashboard of the meat industry.
Lead Nurturing Email Campaigns
The job description for the ChatSpot Micro-Internship required interns to develop email nurturing campaigns for lead generation. Accordingly, I created a campaign for each blog post. The sequence starts with an announcement email, followed by a deep dive in the second email, and concludes with a third email that engages recipients with more detailed questions.
